Article 8: Let Go and Press Forward!

We all have experienced pain from the past, present and unfortunately in the future.  The key is how long you hold on to it and what actions do you take because of it.  Whether it is a business transaction, relationship or business partner which turned out to be more pain than pleasure, you have to learn to quickly do the following:

  1. Identify the type of pain (betrayal, extortion, lying, manipulation, etc.)
  2. Compartmentalize those feelings so they do not spill over into all areas of your life
  3. Become objective and to the best of your ability figure out why it happened
  4. Develop a pain exit strategy (30, 60, 90 day plan)
  5. Create a new plan on how to move forward
  6. Work the plan!

Pain not dealt with, appropriately, will hold you back and stifle your creativity.  It’s time to rise up and boldly go after your victory!  You must develop a strong internal fortitude and proactively pursue joy, peace and strong sense of assurance that it will all work out for your good – if you just don’t quit.

It’s time to stop looking at past mistakes, failures and determine that you have learned all you can from them and now it is time to move forward and never look back.  As you begin to accept this new outlook you will once again be connected to the happiness and prosperity you have always desired!
