Article 33: What’s in Your Head?

Sometimes it is not the things we see in front of us that hold us back or keep us from our best but rather it is the thoughts we continue to let swirl around in our head.  Thoughts regarding possible failures, past mistakes or future uncertainty which want to consume our thoughts.  However, the truth of the matter is hardly any of our created negative circumstances ever materialize.  Mainly because we either learned from our previous mistake, safeguarded ourselves from obvious possible failure or because none of us are very accurate fortune tellers.

Now don’t misunderstand me, bad things do happen and yes if we train our minds and speech to always think negative then those things will come to pass.  However, the opposite is also true.  Think positive; speak positive, live positive leads to more of a fulfilling life.  Now there are a few other factors we need to consider such as a good work habits, sound business plan and strong ethics but even if we have these things but continue to taunt our mind with dire predictions none of those qualities will matter.

The battle begins in your mind.  Win by filling it with the type of ammunition it needs to succeed which is available in; Books, CD’s, Seminars, Webinars, etc.  Just like a basketball player who wants to make a basket so are we who want to get the most out of life.  The basketball player must concentrate and see the basket while he is shooting in order for the ball to go into the hoop.  The body responds to whatever the mind is seeing.  Change your focus and you will change your circumstances.  Concentrate on good results, uplifting images and a future you want to have and your mind will travel in that direction!
